Artillery incoming at Khe Sanh during the siege. This photo was taken by Cliff Treese of Bravo 1/13 who was later seriously wounded from an incoming 140mm rocket.Gun 3 of Charlie 1/12 at Gio Linh. Pictured in the back ground on the right is Steve Cook, the A-gunner who was seriously wounded 28 April 1967. On the left is Marty Martinez who tragiclly was killed in a motor vehicle accident after returning home from Vietnam.
Whiskey 3/12 HowtarGun 2 of Charlie 1/12 at Gio Linh. The parapet wall shows the location of a direct hit from a Russian 100mm field gun used by the NVA in the first artillery attack of the Vietnam War, 20 March 1967.
Jeff Redlick of 1st Searchlight Battery on the Camp Carroll perimeter. Often split into "two searchlight platoons" the lights were disbursed throughout I Corps especially in the firebases on or near the DMZ.Gun 2 of Papa 3/12 blew up during the 1968 Tet offensive killing 3 members of the gun crew and wounding several others.

A 155mm Howitzer belonging to Tango 3/12 firing at LZ Stud during a 1969 fire mission.Gun 4 of Charlie 1/12 at Gio Linh. Along with Gun 2 above, Gun 4 received a direct hit on it's upper parapet wall during the first artillery attack of the Vietnam War 20 March 1967. Both guns had WIA's but repaired the parapet breechs,  returning to the fight despite flat tires and shrapnel damage.
