Robert Guy Brown

NEVER HAS, AND NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN
I was with him on Operation Texas.
He was my best friend in Viet Nam, and I was with him at the time of his death during Operation Texas. Bobby was an Artillery FO, and I was his radio operator. Although my daughter has gone to "The Wall" and taken a scratching of his name, I don't seem to be able to bring myself to do it. Although it was so long ago, it seems like yesterday. Keep in touch Bobby, see ya. Sempier Fi!

I served with Bobby Brown in Vietnam. We were friends. I missed Operation Texas but I can still remember our unit returning to base camp and Bill Wilks telling me that Bobby and Gunny Howard were not coming back. They were KIA. It was a hard day. Bobby was a fun guy and a great Marine.
