Larry Gene Campbell













Corporal Campell was attached to Headquarters Battery 4th Battalion 12th Marines; he was often "tagged" with the moniker "REMF" associated with his "rear echelon" job. Perceived not to be in danger, resupplying forward firebase's was hazardous duty. Corporal Campbell's life proved the falsehood of his safety; he died when the truck he was riding shotgun in hit a mine.

He is remembered by the Marines of Headquarters Battery  he served with...
