David Lee Schouweiler
PFC David Schouweiler was one of three Whiskey Battery Marines who died from North Vietnamese artillery fire 9/19/1967, at the Marine Corps firebase, Con Thien also known as "Hill of Angles." His death came three days after his nineteenth birthday; Whiskey Battery spent in excess of 90 days in the "grinder" called Con Thien, one of the longest battery deployments of the war in a heavy combat zone.
