Hello USMCAA Marines
Due to the restraints the Virtual Wall puts on applicants, Joe and I have decided to design our own Memorial Wall. This in no way is a negative statement towards Virtual Wall personnel; they have their ways of doing things and we fully support what they are trying to achieve. We simply feel we can make it easier for you to add someone that was lost.
This will be another "large" undertaking so we again ask your patience; changes will be made as we "tweak" the design and layout. Please email or post your thoughts in the guest book below; if you wish to submit a casualty, please do so to our Historian Joe Oldham. Joe will be establishing the format; he can be reached at
Please include as much information as possible about the Marine you are submitting. Joe will reply to you concerning submittals. The more information you give us, the better we can create the remembrance for your fallen brother.
We want this to be "our wall;" obviously, we will not be able to incorporate everyone's suggestions but an effort to do what we can will be put forth on your behalf. Joe and myself look forward to hearing from you.
We will soon be changing our name to the "United States Marine Corps Artillery Association." The wall now features the 12th Marine KIA's; we are/were in the process of converting all personnel to our own "Remembrance Format." This project will continue incorporating the 11th and 13th Marine losses into our Memorial Wall.
Marines, this is a "huge" project and I will be the only person working it. As our 11th and 13th Marines begin sending in their lists of names for the wall I will fall behind; please understand, I will work at it weekly. It will probably take me two years to complete but I will see it through to the end of our names. Please remain patient and involved, Joe and I need your help and support - MH
